Towards classification of conditionally integrable evolution systems
Given a generalized (Lie–Bäcklund) vector field, we classify (under certain nondegeneracy assumptions) all (1+1)-dimensional evolution systems which admit this vector field as a conditional symmetry. The connection with the theory of symmetries of systems of ODEs and with the theory of invariant modules is discussed.
متن کاملThe evolution of classification systems: Ontogeny of the UDC
To classify is to put things in meaningful groups, but the criteria for doing so can be problematic. Study of evolution of classification includes ontogenetic analysis of change in classification over time. We present an empirical analysis of the UDC over the entire period of its development. We demonstrate stability in main classes, with major change driven by 20 century scientific development...
متن کاملClassification and evolution of type II CRISPR-Cas systems
The CRISPR-Cas systems of archaeal and bacterial adaptive immunity are classified into three types that differ by the repertoires of CRISPR-associated (cas) genes, the organization of cas operons and the structure of repeats in the CRISPR arrays. The simplest among the CRISPR-Cas systems is type II in which the endonuclease activities required for the interference with foreign deoxyribonucleic ...
متن کاملEvolution in software systems: foundations of the SPE classification scheme
The SPE taxonomy of evolving software systems, first proposed by Lehman in 1980, is re-examined in this work. The primary concepts of software evolution are related to generic theories of evolution, particularly Dawkins’ concept of replicator, to the hermeneutic tradition in philosophy and to Kuhn’s concept of paradigm. These concepts provide the foundations that are needed for understanding th...
متن کاملa comparison of nursing data classification systems
introduction: health care classifications are essential tools for collecting and processing health-related information. they also provide a unified language for interdisciplinary communications. nursing data is important for extension of knowledge, evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing care, and supporting human resource planning. therefore, an integrated system for collecting, st...
